Hi, and thanks for cruising my site!

My name is Nathaniel Reeves, I’m a graphic artist based in Southern California. I’ve been working professionally as a graphic artist since I was legally able to get a job, and currently work full-time for a large technology company developing visual assets, user interfaces, and communication pieces for print, web, and video.

I’m endlessly curious about design in all it’s manifestations, it’s embedded meanings, it’s technical implementation, and it’s final role as an actuator within individuals and society. I love art and music. I’ve dedicated my professional life to their understanding and application, and to utilizing my meager powers to create meaningful effects in the lives of others, and hopefully reciprocate some of the inspiration that I’ve received.

My goals with the site are fairly open-ended. I’ve separated the gallery and blog so that they can function independently to better serve their purposes. The gallery is a running portfolio of my work and this blog will be a sort of cork-board where I post art, music and process, lightly seasoned with ranting (it might get thick at times).
