nkurence is the working alias of Southern California-based artist Nathaniel Reeves. Working professionally as a designer for over 15 years, Nate is a multi-disciplinary creative, exploring the realms of 2d & 3d illustration, sound design, motion graphics, UI development, photography, print making, and engraving in both commercial and personal capacities.

For the last 5 years Nate has held a position at a prominent multi-national technology company, where he is retained as Sr. Graphic Designer. In this role, he focuses on the iterative evolution and consistent implementation of the corporate brand while developing collateral and assets across all medias for use in both public and internally-facing channels.

As a passionate consumer and ardent supporter of electronic music, Nate maintains a solid devotion and sustained effort to support other artists. He believes this dedication, over time, will help to preserve and enhance a genre from which he draws tremendous inspiration, and which he maintains is ‘a romantic notion, that the inspiration and energy I feel as a direct result of these artists, may in someway travel full-circle and become reciprocal’.

Over the past few years Nate has collaborated with Narita Records, Newcastle-based Ochre, and former Merck Records label-mates, Proswell and Ilkae.
